Wilderfolk teaches people to be at home outside: camping, foraging, fire, tide pools, and the kind of knowing that only comes from returning to a place season after season.

Wilderfolk is built on a simple idea: the outdoors is not somewhere you visit, it is something you learn to belong to. We run camps, classes, and a membership for people who want more than a weekend away, who want to know a place through its seasons, read what is in front of them, and come back for it. We share the outdoors through learning and stewardship, not extraction. Small places, looked after well. Wilderfolk is young, and we are building it deliberately: classes, goods, and new ground come online as people ask for them. Tell us what you want, and you will see it arrive.

Camp Catch n Cook is back.
Three days of foraging, fishing, and campfire cooking with Kevin Smith of Catch N Cook California and Taku Kondo of Outdoor Chef Life. The first one sold out with a waitlist behind it. You catch it, you clean it, you cook it over the fire, and you eat better than you do at home.

Everything we run is hands on and outdoors, led by people who have spent years on this ground. You do the thing, badly at first, and then you can do it.

A private coastal-forest club on the Mendocino Coast. Twelve acres of coastal forest, four camping zones, and the Pacific a short walk through the trees. Members camp, learn the season, and come back for it.
