A private coastal-forest club on the Mendocino Coast. Twelve acres, four camping zones, a wood-fired sauna, and the Pacific a short walk through the trees.
The land
Twelve acres of coastal forest.
A short walk from the beach and the tide pools. Coastal pines overhead, huckleberry thick below, and the native trailing blackberry along the sunnier edges. It is a working forest managed for a light footprint: simple structures, hidden in the trees, and as little between you and the place as we can manage.
The four zones
We keep it small on purpose.
Yellowfoot Nook
The smallest and most tucked in. Sheltered, quiet, thick with fern.
Reishi Grove
Deeper in the trees. The still one.
Lobster Meadow
The open one, for larger groups. Morning fog, closest to the sauna.
Elfin Saddle Glade
Opening soon

The sauna
The sauna isn’t an amenity. It’s the reward.
Reclaimed old-growth redwood, sea stones, and a wood fire. After a cold morning on the coast, or a long walk in the rain, there is nothing better.
The coast
The Pacific, a short walk through the trees.
Tide pools at low water, whales offshore in spring, and a shoreline that changes with every storm. Most of what there is to learn here is within walking distance.

Hands-on classes led by local instructors: reading the forest, coastal foraging, fire, tide pools. Members get member pricing.
