Camp Catch n Cook is back.
Three days of foraging, fishing, and campfire cooking with Kevin Smith of Catch N Cook California and Taku Kondo of Outdoor Chef Life. The first one sold out with a waitlist behind it. You catch it, you clean it, you cook it over the fire, and you eat better than you do at home.

The program
Six things worth knowing
Every class runs at Camp Candy Cap, in small groups, taught by local instructors. This is a new camp, and we are opening it deliberately: classes go on the calendar one at a time, as instructors confirm and interest gathers. Tell us which ones you want and you will hear first. Members of the Camping Club pick dates before anyone else.

How it works
Open to the public
Anyone can book a class. Members of the Wilderfolk Camping Club and their guests choose dates first and pay 15% less. Some classes are presented with Practical Intelligence, the same expert instruction, at camp.
Book experiences with us
Tell us what you want to do.
A class for your crew, a private foraging walk, a day at the fire pit, or something we have not thought of yet. Write to us and we will put it together. Every message lands directly with us, and we answer all of them.
The season
Come when it’s raining.
Our signature season is winter. While most of the coast closes down, the forest comes alive and the whales move offshore. If you want the real thing, come when it is wet.
